  Atalanta were able to bridge the gap and match the English club's demands to accelerate Muniz's transfer. However, with the Premier League already underway, Fulham have yet to find a replacement for the forward. According to journalist Sacha Tavolieri, the deal is at risk of collapsing if the Cottagers are unable to find a replacement for their frontline. The Brazilian forward is reportedly also interested in moving to Italy.

  It was Muniz who rescued a point for Fulham in the dying seconds of their opening game of the Premier League campaign against Brighton. Marco Silva's team were a goal down with seconds remaining when Harry Wilson's corner deflected off the head of a Brighton defender and landed at the feet of the Brazilian, who slid it calmly into the net.
